John Mahon, BSC Chair
The Business Services Commission is responsible for developing contract work and promoting business opportunities for DelARF and its members, enabling members to provide employment to people with disabilities through the utilization of the State Use Law's provisions for contract set asides. The BSC has four primary goals:
- Provide management oversight for DelARF and its members involved in set aside contracts, ensuring contract related problems are addressed in a timely and efficient manner
- Work with the Department of Administrative Services and the Division of Facilities Management to create contract diversity and maintain linkage with the State Use Commission so that current contracts can be expanded or new contracts set aside under the authority of the State Use Commission.
- Promote employment opportunities for people with disabilities within the context of good business practices in both the public and the private sectors.
- Take the lead in developing new business opportunities or business related benefits for DelARF and its members.
