Behavioral Health Commission (BeHC)
The Behavioral Health Commission takes the lead for DelARF and its members in addressing behavioral health issues. This includes the areas of mental health, substance abuse, HIV/AIDS, and gambling addictions.
Business Services Commission (BSC)
The Business Services Commission is responsible for developing contract work and promoting business opportunities for DelARF and its members, enabling members to provide employment to people with disabilities through the utilization of the State Use Law's provisions for contract set asides.
Developmental Disabilities Commission (DDC)
The Developmental Disabilities Commission includes both residential and day service providers and takes the lead for DelARF and its members in addressing developmental disabilities issues, problems, resources and programs.
Government Relations Commission (GRC)
The Government Relations Commission takes the lead for DelARF and its members in linking with different government entities because government is involved in most of what we do. The GRC focuses on policy development and legislations.
Physical Disabilities Commission (PDC)
The Physical Disabilities Commission takes the lead for DelARF and its members in addressing physical disabilities issues, which includes all categories of disabilities that are not classified as behavioral or developmental. The PDC also takes the lead on the broader issues of transportation, housing, accessibility and respite care, often in conjunction with other Commissions.
Vocational Services Commission (VSC)
The Vocational Services Commission takes the lead for DelARF and its members in addressing vocational issues (assessments, training, job development, employment, long-term job supports, etc.) within the field of rehabilitation.
